To maintain top washing performance, the hoses in the detergent and neutralizing pumps should be replaced yearly. Over time, these hoses can wear, become brittle, and clog with residue, resulting in reduced cleaning effectiveness.

“Hi, I’m Lukas. Since Harstra’s acquisition by Groku in October 2023, I’ve been fully focused on product innovation.
Before that, I joined Groku in 2022 during my mechanical engineering studies. I started with an internship, followed by a part-time role, and continued growing within the company.
What excites me most is seeing our innovations come to life. One project I’m proud of is upgrading our M45 drying cabinet to stainless steel, making it more durable and sustainable.
Right now, I’m preparing our products for the North American market, inspired by the amazing feedback we received at the FDIC show in Indianapolis.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 1-year-old daughter. We enjoy taking day trips together, especially seeing her experience things for the first time. When I’m at home, you’ll often find me playing piano, working with my 3D printer, or trying new recipes in the kitchen.”
The Wash9 is Harstra’s compact, durable solution for cleaning and disinfecting breathing masks. Made from stainless steel (type 304), it’s built for high use in limited spaces.
Using just 9 liters per cycle, the Wash9 offers three wash cycles—5, 10, or 21 minutes—ensuring thorough cleaning with minimal resources. Its cleaning process includes a phosphate- and chlorine-free alkaline cleanser and citric acid-based neutralizer for safe disinfection.
User-friendly features include push-button controls, an LED temperature display, and safety elements like a door switch and temperature control. Each machine includes an A03 stainless steel wire basket compatible with Harstra’s drying cabinets.
