“Hi, I’m Bart. Since 2024, I oversee the production process, manage daily operations, and ensure that our manufacturing goals are met efficiently. My focus is on maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost-effective production.
What I love most about my role is the ever-changing mix of problem-solving, innovation, hands-on work, and close collaboration with our customers. The job remains challenging and exciting.
At the moment, I’m focusing on building relationships with our existing and new suppliers to achieve more optimized inventory management.
In my spare time, I enjoy restoring old machinery. Currently, I’m working on a 1960 Swiss INCA table saw and a 1980 French Kitty combination machine.

The Wash36 is designed for maximum efficiency, cleaning up to 36 breathing masks in a single cycle.
Built entirely from stainless steel (type 304), it ensures durability and easy maintenance. With a powerful 850 liters/min circulation pump and precise temperature control, it delivers exceptional cleaning results.
Equipped with user-friendly controls and three washing programs (5, 10, or 22 minutes), the Wash36 combines simplicity with advanced performance. Integrated safety features like automatic detergent dosing and Siemens PLC automation ensure reliability every step of the way.
The F12 drying cabinet, supplied with the AF12 trolley, is optimized for drying up to 6 SCBAs.
For operations requiring additional flexibility, the AF80 trolley offers a practical upgrade. Featuring 8 A03 wire baskets, it’s perfect for drying smaller items or mixed loads.
Designed to complement the F12, the AF80 is one of Harstra’s specialized trolleys, alongside the AF64 for combined SCBA and mask drying, and the AF44 for mixed configurations.
