“Hi, I’m Freerk. As Quality Manager since October 2023, I support and guide Engineering, Operations, and Production. I also conduct Service Technician trainings for Harstra equipment.
Since 2000, I’ve held various roles at Groku, including Draftsman, Project Leader, Quality Manager, and Head of SHQE (Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental Requirements).
What I enjoy most about my role is leading the team to ensure our product and service quality. This includes training both internal and external technicians to ensure our equipment operates flawlessly even after years of use.
Currently, I’m optimizing the training program to make the sessions as educational and dynamic as possible. The interaction with technicians during training is always rewarding and interesting.
Outside of work, my wife and I love the atmosphere and nature in Norway, where we often spend our vacations. I’m also frequently on the water in our sailboat, and occasionally rent a sporty yacht for a weekend getaway with our three grown sons.
My favorite quote is, “Do what you promise, but at least always follow up!”
