Wash4 – Professional Cleaning Machine

The Harstra Wash4 is a professional cleaning unit designed for the pressurized washing of SCBAs with attached breathing cylinders. Its integrated pull-out frame allows secure placement of complete breathing sets under pressure, ensuring reliability and safety.

Additionally, helmets, breathing masks/facepieces, and other small PPE items can also be cleaned in this machine.

Can clean

  • SCBAs with cylinder (under pressure, up to 4 per batch)
  • Helmets (placed on the pull-out frame)
  • Breathing masks (using the standard A03 basket or the optional AW4M mask frame – up to 18 masks)


Cannot clean

  • SCBAs without cylinder → see Wash6HP
  • Large-volume mask loads → see Wash36
  • Clothing or footwear


After cleaning
After the recommended cleaning cycle of 22 minutes, the SCBAs can be detached from their cylinders to begin drying. It is recommended to dry SCBAs in a dedicated SCBA drying cabinet, such as the F12 or M45B, depending on the drying needs of your station.

Position in cleaning product range
The Wash4 is the only model designed for cleaning SCBAs with cylinders still attached. For cleaning SCBAs without cylinders, choose the Wash6HP, Wash6HP Barrier, or Wash9HP. For high-volume mask cleaning, consider the Wash36.

  • AW4F: Frame for placing up to 4 SCBAs with cylinders inside the Wash4


Optional accessories

  • AW4M: Frame for placing up to 18 masks inside the Wash4
  • AW43: Alternative frame for the AW4F, holding up to 3 SCBAs with cylinders
  • Baskets: For holding masks, helmets, or other PPE inside the Wash4 (fits up to 2 A03 baskets)
