Wash6HP – Pressurized SCBA Cleaning Machine

The Harstra Wash6HP is designed for the pressurized cleaning of SCBAs without breathing cylinders. This machine is equipped with six high-pressure connectors, allowing connection of up to six SCBAs per cleaning cycle.

Additionally, helmets and breathing masks/facepieces can also be cleaned in the Wash6HP. Helmets can be placed individually on the pull-out frame, while masks can be cleaned using the 12-pin mask frame.

Can clean

• SCBAs without cylinder (under pressure, up to 6 per batch)
• Helmets (placed individually on the pull-out frame)
• Breathing masks/facepieces (using either a basket or the 12-pin mask frame)

Cannot clean

• SCBAs with attached cylinders → see Wash4
• Large-volume mask loads → see Wash36
• Clothing or footwear

After cleaning
After the cleaning cycle is complete, it is recommended to dry the SCBAs in a dedicated SCBA drying cabinet, such as the F12 or M45B, depending on your station’s drying needs.

Position in cleaning product range
The Wash6HP is part of the High Pressure (HP) cleaning range. Other HP models include the Wash6HP Barrier and Wash9HP. The Wash6HP Barrier offers the same capacity as the Wash6HP, while the Wash9HP accommodates one SCBA per cycle. For cleaning SCBAs with cylinders still attached, choose the Wash4. For high-volume mask cleaning, consider the Wash36.
